College
After completing the Sakya Monastic Basic School training (Class VIII) our monks start the Buddhist philosophical studies for the next ten years. After studying rigorously for eight years they receive the title of Kachupa, equal to Bachelor of Arts, and after another two years, they receive the Lopon degree, equal to Master of Arts. Presently, there are 25 monks enrolled in graduate studies under the guidance of three philosophy teachers led by Venerable Khenpo Jampa Dhakpa.
