MAHAKALA PUJA

Mahakala Puja is a prayer to the tutelary deities who are the Protector of Dharma and its practitioners. This ritual invokes the tutelary deities to guide, support and bestow power to face the life’s struggle and also eliminate the obstacles and force that hinders in our path. The offerings and preparation of this ritual is simple. This is mainly done by the whole Sangha gatherings with ritual music but it can also be done by four monks. The ritual may take 4 hours but the mantras of each deities are repeated three times and will take 6 hours altogether.
